We at the Company value your privacy.

This Privacy Policy describes how the Company, operating under the trade names "MonsterLab" and "ClipIt" (collectively, "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, and shares information about you when you use our websites, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. This Policy is governed by the laws of the state in which the Company is organized, consistent with our Terms of Service.

    01Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the Services.

    1A. Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you register via a third-party provider, we receive profile data from that provider as permitted by your authorization.

If you register a passkey, the Company stores the associated cryptographic public key credential linked to your account. Passkey credentials are permanently deleted upon account closure or upon explicit removal through your account settings.

    1B. Discord Authentication Data

If you link your account using Discord, we receive certain profile data from Discord, Inc. — including your Discord user ID, email address, and username. This data is required for access to the ClipIt submission system. You can manage your Discord authorization at discord.com/applications. Disconnecting your Discord account may restrict your ClipIt access.

1C. Financial & Identity Verification Data (KYC)

If you connect a payout account through Stripe, Inc., Stripe may collect government-issued identification, date of birth, address, bank account details, and tax identification numbers directly. This data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy). The Company does not store raw government identity documents on its own servers.

For users approved for manual ("Non-KYC") payouts, basic payment method details — such as payment platform type and account identifier — are stored directly in our secure database.

If you make a payment via cryptocurrency, your transaction is processed by NOWPayments. The Company may receive and store your blockchain wallet address, transaction hash, and payment amount for Credit allocation and reconciliation purposes. Cryptocurrency payment data is also governed by NOWPayments' Privacy Policy (nowpayments.io/privacy-policy).

    1D. Submission & Earnings Data

When you use our Services, we collect and store: your linked social media account handles and platform identifiers; URLs of content you submit; submission timestamps and processing status; engagement metrics (views, likes, watch time, shares) retrieved from third-party platforms; and campaign participation records and earnings data.

To retrieve engagement metrics on submitted content, the Company uses third-party data-collection providers to access publicly available data from TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X/Twitter. Data collected through these providers is governed by the respective provider's privacy policy.

To verify that you own a social media account, we may require you to place a verification code in the account's public profile, which we then confirm by accessing the public profile. If you enable automated submission, we periodically access your connected account to discover and submit new public posts on your behalf.

    1E. Technical & Usage Data

We automatically collect information about your device and usage, including IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent, and referring URLs. This data is used for platform security, fraud detection, and performance analysis.

    1F. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, session tokens, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Services. This includes authentication cookies required for account access, security tokens, and analytics tools that help us understand how users interact with the Services. By using the Services, you consent to the use of these technologies. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may prevent certain features from functioning correctly.

    1G. Brand Program Application Data

If you submit a brand partner application through the Company's website, we collect the information you provide in the application form, including your name, email address, company name, product or service description, budget range, and any notes you choose to include. This data is used solely to evaluate your application and manage potential commercial partnerships. Brand application data is not shared with ClipIt creators, and may otherwise be shared as described in Section 3. If your application is not progressed, your submitted data is retained for a reasonable period for business record purposes.

    1H. Campaign Application Data

When you apply to a clipping campaign through a public campaign landing page, we collect the email address and any account identifiers you provide, in order to process your application, send you an invitation, and onboard you to the campaign.

    1I. Feedback & Support Data

When you submit feedback, a bug report, or a support request, we collect the information you provide — including the title and description, any screenshot or image you choose to upload, and technical context such as the page URL, browser type, and viewport — together with your account identifier, email, and name. Screenshots may contain information visible on your screen at the time of capture; you are responsible for the content of any image you upload.

    1J. Identity Verification

The Company may require you to verify your identity, at any time and at its discretion, including to participate in certain campaigns, programs, or features, to receive payouts, or to protect the Services against fraud and duplicate accounts. Verification may be conducted by live video call with Company staff or by other means.

As part of verification we may collect, view, or confirm your legal name, telephone number, email address, the social media accounts linked to your account, a government-issued photo identification document, and other information the Company considers necessary to confirm your identity and eligibility.

You may decline to verify, but if you do, the Company may limit or deny your access to some or all of the Services.

The verification process, including its format and the information requested, is subject to change at any time without notice.

    02How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and improve the Services — operate, maintain, and enhance all features and functionality.

Process payouts — verify your identity, calculate earnings, and transfer funds.

Verify identity and eligibility — confirm the identity and eligibility of users, and prevent fraudulent, duplicate, or ineligible participation.

Verify content ownership — confirm that submitted content belongs to registered accounts.

Detect and prevent fraud — monitor engagement anomalies, IP reputation, and account behavior to protect platform integrity.

Enforce our Terms — investigate violations, apply moderation decisions, and protect the rights of the Company and other users.

Communicate with you — send account notifications, transaction confirmations, and policy updates.

Meet legal obligations — retain records and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

Operate public features — display your obfuscated handle, rankings, view counts, and estimated earnings on leaderboards, and feature clips you submit in "Top Clips" showcases, visible to other users of the Services.

Analyze and develop — use the information we collect, in identifiable, aggregated, or de-identified form, for our own internal analysis and research and for the development and improvement of our products, services, and technologies. You are not entitled to any compensation, attribution, or ownership interest arising from this use.

    03Information We Share

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with the following categories of recipients:

Clients & Business Partners: Businesses that sponsor, fund, or participate in campaigns, programs, or other activities on the Services, or that otherwise engage the Company ("Clients"). We may share with Clients any information described in Section 1, including your account and profile information, legal name, contact details, verification status, linked social media accounts, submitted content, and campaign participation, performance, and earnings data, for the purposes described in this Policy. Clients receive this information subject to written agreements that restrict their use of it.

Service Providers & Affiliates: Companies that host, secure, support, or operate the Services on our behalf, and entities under common ownership or control with the Company.

Professional Advisers: Lawyers, accountants, auditors, and insurers.

Payment Processors: Stripe, Inc. and other payment providers, for processing payouts and completing identity verification.

Fraud Detection Services: Third-party IP reputation and risk-scoring providers used to protect platform integrity. This may involve sharing your IP address with these services.

Legal Authorities: Law enforcement, regulatory bodies, or courts when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of the Company, users, or the public.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified of any such change via the email address on your account.

Communications Providers: Third-party email and messaging providers used to deliver transactional, onboarding, and promotional communications on our behalf.

Other Third Parties: Other third parties, at the Company's discretion, for the purposes described in this Policy. By accepting this Policy, you consent to such disclosures.

    3A. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and in other countries where the Company and the recipients described in this Section operate, which may have data protection laws different from those of your country. By using the Services, you consent to these transfers. Where required by applicable law, the Company takes steps it considers appropriate to protect your information in connection with these transfers.

    04Fraud Detection & Platform Integrity

The Company operates automated and manual systems to detect fraud, abuse, and violations of these Terms, and to protect the platform and its users. These systems analyze account, device, network, and usage signals — internally and through third-party providers — to assess risk and maintain platform integrity. The Company does not disclose the specific methods, signals, or criteria used, as doing so would undermine their effectiveness. The Company also maintains audit logs of administrative actions taken on your account. This processing is based on the Company's legitimate interest in preventing fraud and protecting the platform. Risk assessments and audit logs are retained indefinitely as described in Section 5 and are exempt from deletion requests.

    05Data Retention

Account Data: Retained for the duration of your account and for a reasonable period after closure to support transition and any residual obligations.

Submission & Earnings Data: Retained for the duration of your account and thereafter as required for financial reconciliation and regulatory compliance.

KYC & Compliance Records: Compliance records, including identity verification status and payout exception records, are retained for a minimum of 7 years from account closure, in accordance with applicable financial regulations.

Fraud & Moderation Records: Records related to bans, fraud investigations, and moderation actions are retained indefinitely to protect platform integrity and support future enforcement.

Verification Records: Retained for as long as the Company considers necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including fraud prevention, enforcement of our Terms, legal and regulatory compliance, and the resolution of disputes.

    06Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable data breach notification laws.

    07Third-Party Services

The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services not operated by the Company. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party service. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use in connection with the Services.

    08Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete such information and terminate the associated account. This includes where verification indicates that a user is under 18.

    09Your Privacy Choices

The Company is based in the United States. Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on our agreement with you, your consent, our legitimate business interests, and our legal obligations, as applicable.

The Services do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. Our data collection practices are described in Section 1 of this Policy regardless of any DNT setting you may have enabled.

You may contact us to request the following. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, each request is granted at the Company's sole and absolute discretion, and the Company is under no obligation to fulfill, and may decline or limit, any such request:

Access — request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.

Correct — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

Delete — request deletion of your personal data. Deletion is provided at the Company's sole discretion. The Company is under no obligation to delete any data and may retain, in whole or in part, any information it deems necessary or appropriate for legal, security, fraud-prevention, financial, operational, or business-record purposes. The Company will honor a deletion request only to the extent, and in the manner, it determines in its sole discretion.

Restrict — object to or request restriction of certain processing activities.

To submit a request, contact us at [email protected]. The Company will endeavor to respond within a commercially reasonable timeframe. Fraud, moderation, financial, and compliance records are expressly exempt from deletion and will not be removed regardless of account status or any request.

    California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right, subject to exceptions under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA; disclosures to Clients are made for a business purpose under written contracts. To exercise a right, contact [email protected] directly or through an authorized agent. We will verify your identity before responding.
